Wool baskets!

When: Tuesday-Saturday 10-5 in Clarion

Hang a wool basket near your birdfeeder and watch your winged friends pick fleece for their nests. We hung a test basket outside the dining room window and the birds had it cleaned out in two days!

Wool baskets are stuffed with real fiber from our flock of sheep. Not only can you provide natural materials for nest building, you can also help revive a local fiber economy that has disappeared from our region.

Baskets are $10 each and available at our farm store, the Beef Barn, conveniently located just outside of Clarion. Our address is 82 Port Farm Lane, Clarion PA 16214. Store hours are weekly Tuesday - Saturday 10-5.

You can also find us at our weekly Saturday farm stand in Pittsburgh, PA, every Saturday from 9-12 in the parking lot outside 2216 Penn Avenue in the Strip District.
