It’s Saturday, and that means I’m headed to the Strip District with coolers full of BEEF, glorious beef from our farm for your family.  Find me at 2216 beside the extraordinary Bar Marco from 9am – Noon.  This is the way to buy food!

As a whole, we automatically recognize fast food ground beef for what it is: mass produced, low quality, indistinct, artificially inexpensive sauce conveyance.  We attach it to these adjectives because, simply, it’s fast food served on a national scale, and everyone inherently realizes greater scale equals lower quality.  So the pattied beef receives the brunt of social criticism.  I think it’s hilarious, then, when said beef on a popular sandwich is replaced with an artificial pea patty, suddenly we’ve achieved the pinnacle of gastronomical achievement, touted on every media outlet as the future for humanity.  Friends, it’s Impossible to stick a Cadillac badge on a Cavalier and change the destiny of the Cavalier.  When commercials tell us reformulating fast food ingredients changes fast food, that’s nothing but a big Whopper.

Making the effort to purchase wholesome beef from a specific farm, however, truly is a game-changer.  Your food dollars are activated when you direct them to independent, proximate farms.  We don’t have the pizzazz of big companies, but we do know your name.  That makes all the difference.
